Do you know who your target market is? Does your ideal customer know about YOU?
Sometimes people get caught up in the demographics of age, gender, income and location. This isn’t always the best indicator of a target market. Alice Cooper and Prince Charles are the same demographic after all!
Think instead about the factors that drive buying behaviour like:
• emotional style and motivation
• moral, ethical, and political values
• attitudes, biases, and prejudices
The starting place is “What do your favourite customers or clients have in common?”
